It has been a while since I posted here.
2026 has been a busy year, mostly because my day job has taken a lot of my time and energy. I have also continued working through various home improvements, which has left less time—and sometimes less headspace—for writing updates.
That does not mean everything has stopped behind the scenes.
MUDly is still alive and moving forward. Recent work has included improving responsiveness and connection handling, experimenting with generated assets, and continuing the longer-term work around world state and automation. It is the kind of project where getting the foundations right matters more than producing a constant stream of screenshots, so I would rather share something useful when it is ready than turn every small change into a post.
I have also spent time on the infrastructure behind tbdmaker: the home lab, Kubernetes, and the continuing migration of services to Civo. Some of that became unexpectedly urgent when the cluster ran into problems, but the affected sites are back and I am now working through the remaining migration and maintenance more carefully.
For Q4, the aim is simple: make a little more room for projects again and share things when I have something worth showing. I am not promising a fixed schedule or a flood of progress posts, but tbdmaker is still here—just quieter than usual.
Thanks for sticking around.
