I found myself doodling and by the time I'd finished I noticed the head didn't quite look right

I decided to attempt to rescue the doodle. I took my trusty phone and snapped a pic, transferred it to my laptop and loaded it up in GIMP. I few clicks and I'd repositioned the head and smoothed out the background.

Not quite 100% correct but looking much better. Time to colour it in.

GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program)  is one of those applications I usually find myself installing within a week of building a new laptop. It won't make you a great artist (that takes time) but its full of features that will come in handy along your journey.

If you've ever found yourself doodling but we're not 100% happy with the outcome then don't despair. Snap a pic or scan the image and have a go at some digital art. Keep the bits you like and fix or replace the bits you hate.

Think I'll go and draw another head 🤔
